I’m going on Birthright, a free trip to Israel for 10 days this winter. I am so so excited. Any excuse to travel is great. But then there are these people, who ask questions like this. Who thinks to them-self, “hey let’s dress like a skank tonight!” Not to mention that Jewish women are supposed to cover themselves modestly, as per tradition. I hate when people go to other countries and don’t respect the country’s culture AT ALL.

I wouldn’t be so sure. You’re going to Tel Aviv (among other places) that are very secular. Girls there dress just as trashy as some Americans do. It is really only in Tsfat and Jerusalem where you need to consider covering up. A lot of the time you’ll be on a bus so it really won’t matter what you’re wearing. I wouldn’t bother bringing tons of club clothes simply because you don’t have a ton of club time. You will probably have the opportunity to go out at night maybe three or four times.
